How We Collect and Rank
Where the data comes from
- Game giveaways: GamerPower, a public database of free game giveaways. We use the name, store, deadline, price and platforms; the writing is ours.
- Prices in rupees: the stores themselves (Epic Games Store and Steam), with the price for India. We check them once a week.
We only use public information. We don’t copy other sites’ writing: the text here is our own, and every page names its data source.
When we update
The site updates every night, shortly after midnight India time (IST). On Thursdays we also update late in the evening (IST), right after the Epic Games Store swaps its free game.
If a source goes down, we keep the previous day’s data and catch up as soon as it’s back. We never publish an empty page.
How we rank
Giveaways that end soon come first. Then come full games, ranked by a score that combines the game’s regular price, how popular the giveaway is (how many people have claimed it) and how new it is. The most searched stores, like Epic Games and Steam, get more weight. DLC and items come after full games.
We only list giveaways from official stores and platforms. Key giveaways run by third-party sites that require sign-ups or tasks are left out.
Limits
Stores can change or end a giveaway without notice, so always double-check the deadline on the store page before you claim. Spotted something wrong? Email contact@lootgratis.com.
